Rising from the Ashes CD. In the early morning of August 291997, Alert Bay awoke to the news that the BigHouse (Gukwdzi) was on fire. Many peoplecame from their homes to observe the devastatingscene taking place. This CD was conceived out of the need to raise funds for the continued operating costs and maintenance for the Alert Bay Gukwdzi.
