This carving will to be included in the new book entitled, "Contemporary Native American Artists" on pages 50 and 51.
It was carved from Alaskan yellow cedar. It stands 8ft tall and is 20 inches in diameter.
The story of this piece relates to the history of California, from the 49ers decimation of the Grizzly bear population to the Indigenous Miwok people from the Yosemite area to the Eagle who sits atop the totem.
We are currently discounting the piece to speed its sale, in order to help Ed raise funds for new large projects.
